We are also a member of the Occupational Road Safety Alliance (ORSA.ORG.UK) we participate in SAFED for Van, and we are also with the Driving Instructors Association. WORLD FIREFIGHTER GAMES08. We are proud to be a sponsor supporter for the World Firefighter Games08 to be held on Merseyside during 25th August to 2nd September 2008. This event promises to be one of the highlights of the Capital of Culture Year here on Merseyside
BLUNDELLSANDS ARCHERS are a progressive local archery club here on Merseyside, aiming to promote the sport of archery by taking youngsters off the streets of Merseyside and training them in the disciplines of a noble sport. We have often supported them in this task by providing a member of staff to assist in the coaching of these youngster who might otherwise become involved in anti-social behaviour, we have worked in areas like Croxteth which was where a young innocent lad was tragically killed. Working in partnership with Sefton Leisure Services many schoolchildren have taken part in archery coaching through the summer months to help them achieve a healthier lifestyle and learn new skills.
